About Tae

Tae Yoon was born and raised in Queens, New York. After studying writing in college, he spent his career working in the NYC food and restaurant industry.

Tae's industry expertise and dedication to writing has been chronicled in his personal blog since 2006. He began contributing to VICE in 2013, in addition to their food channel MUNCHIES at its launch in 2014. His writing has also appeared in them., Eater, Gothamist, and Edible Queens.

He currently works as the Local Editor of NYC at Thrillist and in search of literary representation.
